It was surprising to me, but when I spent time around him I was surprised at first to discover how petite he is.  A little plump, but really, a small, short man.  Quite small. 

I think because his face, feet, and other body parts haves been blown up out of proportion in photos has made him appear to be quite larger than he is in real life.

Fact is, he's very short.  5'2" ish.  At 5'7" I towered over him, side by side.

His "greatness" is yet another myth.
