Unless you were running interference for Rawat the most you would have done would be to respectfully ask what happened.  If you had a question about how and when Susan reported the abuse you would have asked.  When she explained that she was actually a devotee of a man who trained her to believe he was God and her ultimate lover and protector, when she explained the culture of our group then, when you thought about where society was in terms of reporting sex offences back then, if you were a fair and decent person, you'd ahve gotten it.  If not, you'd have asked more questions perhaps.  No way in the world you would have ended up believing any of the crap POV threw at her.

But, the fact is, POV didn't even have to ask any of those questions.  He was there.  He knew.  None of his questions or criticisms were genuine.

But then you're the guy who still thinks Zappaz is sincere when he denies that Rawat claimed he was God, right?
