and according to the author Kabir's writings are a conglomeration of several people with Kabir in their name.
Satguru does not necessarily refer to a person and if you look at those poems, in that light almost none mention the master as a person.
There was also some doubt as to whether Kabir had a 'master' at all. Apparently some writings(referring to Ramanand I think) were added by bhakis who were interested in proving Kabir was one of them.
Anyway, we know all about revisionism, don't we!
Maybe Ron Geaves can clarify about Kabir for us. Ron must be an expert since he told me a few years ago that Professor David Lane made an academic mistake.
