One undeniable fact is that Prem Rawat/Maharaji allowed it to be declared in his name (not least in the book "Who is Guru Maharaj Ji?", published in the UK by Bantam Books, http://www.ex-premie.org/papers/whoisgmj.htm - scroll down to Part 1, The Event, Chapter 2) that he was "the greatest incarnation of God that ever trod the face of this planet".If Rawat never personally thought himself to be - not just one of the incarnations, but - the "greatest" incarnation of God, he kept pretty damn quiet about it while that book went to press. In plain English, would you ever again trust a man who "let' (paid for, more likely) such a thing be said about him, when he believed it to be false?
