I remember that I received a letter from an ex-follower of Sathya Sai Baba whom I did not know with a copy of all the very grave accusations against the guru, incl pedophelia and murder. I felt that sending this letter to me was harassment. Of course, in hindsight and from an objective viewpoint it was no harassment though I still think that the ex-followers should have been more diplomatic in this extremely sensitive matter. Only when I received independent confirmations of the accusations I lost my faith and disengaged myself fom the guru.
There are no easy solutions I guess.
