Greetings Mike
across the street from the ashram in the hartford community, was a yogi bhagan house.
They had a room for rent so I rented it.
yogi bhagan said to his followers that if they wear the turban, with the knife hidden in it! and wear the cloths, and do 20 minutes of chanting meditation morning and evening, and go to the meetings..........well, he said if you do that for 2 years, "you will see the seeable, and know the unknowable".

nice........and if you dont? your fault of course!

here is thier meditation.
sa
ta
na
ma

you say saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
the inhale and say taaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
nnnaaaaaaaaaa
mmmmmaaaaaaaaaaaa

of course in the begining, it was sat nam, which meant word.
Then over time, they break it up to sa ta na ma, and over time EACH of those 4 mean different things, whole paragraphs writen about each of those 4.

You do them loud then over 10 minutes you lower and lower the volume till you are saying them in your head quietly, then you gradually over the next 10 minutes get louder again.
ta da!
There you have it. Thier secret meditation.
