Don't think "ashamed of" was the phrase I meant regarding rawat's attitude toward his dad's wives. I guess I was wondering if it's not spoken of because it might put people off or something else that might put rawat in a negative light. It wouldn't matter to anyone who is the slightest bit culturally aware of India at that time. Never seemed a problem to me, because for his dad, it was fine. For rawat, it's not. It was curious to have only heard of it one time even among the most rabid premies who talk rawat constantly. I began wondering if I had completely misunderstood what they were saying.
No, I don't think rawat can be ashamed of anything. If he had the ability to feel shame at all, or anyhing approaching what he should feel, he'd be unable to look in the mirror even to shave.
