Hi Marianne,

Interesting case.   One can just cringe as to what the "Holy Spirit Association" might be.  [I have an image of a bunch of ghosts having an annual convention of their "association" in Las Vegas. ]

But doesn't it sound kinda like "Divine Light Mission?"

But remind me.  Doesn't fraud require a showing of intent?  So, this is the other issue I guess....  What if Prem Rawat really believed he was God, which I think he did at least part of the time? 

But I suppose that he now denies that he ever claimed to be God would kind of mitigate against that. 

But it is nice to know that the cloak of "religion" doesn't provide complete protection for charlatans.
