Reporter,

Whether Rawat continues his scam depends on a very simple formula -  income exceeding costs means he continues - costs exceeding  income means the whole shebang crumbles.

Like any other business Rawatism requires the commitment of a minimum number of customers - its critical mass. Exactly what that critical mass is depends upon the quality of the customers - for Rawat a few very rich and generous customers would do as well if not better than a cohort of low income drones. The problem for Rawat is that his inclination is to operate as though the very rich, the Delaskis, the Pascottos, Sordonis et al were his personal pension and the whole TPRF/EV/RVK operation has to run on what the drones provide. And it is the drones - the 10% of income donors - who are fast disappearing.

Rawat was forced to give up Serenity - probably to plug the Amaroo money pit - the first time in thirty years he has had to deal with retrenchment. Tthe $4million per annum cost of the GSV is a constant drain and quite simply unless there is a minimum number of contributing western premies the $10million plus annual cost of the TPRF/EV/RVK operation will not be met..

Retirement, ill health, old age, death are all taking a toll on Rawat's drones and once the number falls below the critical mass costs will rapidly overwhelm income. Is Rawat going to use his personal wealth to carry on the business ? Very unlikely - selling Serenity was forced on him because of the high level of indebtedness in his personal 'investments' and the looming legal embarrassment of the Myrine set up. Myrine has been dumped on TPRF - with no evidence that Myrine has any market value. If this is any indication then there's probably a major operation underway to secure all Rawat's personal assets from any further unpleasant retrenchment demands.

My guess is that within five years John will get his wish - Rawatism as an active cult will indeed 'go away'.
