I believe you are wrong and you are mistaking "reaching more people with his message" with "more and more people are responding to his message". Firstly he is reaching more people because he is now using cheap niche mass media where for nearly 20 years after 1982 no publicity but word of mouth was allowed and no mass media were used.He is also probably having more people initially respond to his message for much the same reasons. However as we have seen in the last 20 years no matter what has been tried the drop out rate has been very large and with responses coming through impersonal rather than personal channels that drop out rate will probably even increase.
While he may enlarge the premie pool he will enlarge the ex-premie pool even more. A "hatchet job" is unfair criticism. I believe that most of the criticism of Prem Rawat on this Forum is deserved. On this Forum I have only ever seen criticism of Prem Rawat, some members of his family and some premies such as yourself. Oh and of course some other ex-premies. There may have been the odd passing disparaging reference to others with no connection to Rawatism but not a many as the positive remarks about others.
I don't think Rawat is likely to "give up" either. His work load is astonishingly low and he's hardly likely to get the adulation anywhere else. However his priority appears to be about getting a little respect in the general community so he may allow the propagation to languish even more.
I was chatting with the local community co-ordinator yesterday and gave him a copy of Blue Aquarius (with the addition of a few of his favourite tracks like 'Spread this Knowledge'). His nickname for me is "Vivaciousness Maximus". Does that sound like someone who loves to bitch and moan? What was that old saw that Padarthanand loved to repeat. When you're pointing at others you have 3 fingers pointing back at you? It's pretty trite but think about yourself.
