I've just been reading the report from Amaroo, which Will posted below. I took particular note of this passage:

His kindness poured. He said that in the future there would be retirement communities. Health modalities, beautiful gardens etc. He said he designed these modular homes, that don't need tools to construct, and that it would take two people about a 1/2 day to put up.

He said they would be in several locations, and we could sometimes fly one to the other.

Doesn't this description of what Rawat is going to do sound familiar? It sure did to me. So I went poking around in EPO to find information about the promises about the City of Love and Light (in Texas), about DUO and the World Welfare Association - projects which had similar humanitarian objectives but which were tossed by the wayside soon after they were launched.

Premies and pwks ought to know what happened to these projects.

Rawat and the cult talked about these "modular units" for housing way back in 1974. Read the Oui Magazine article which mentions it -

Go to page 133. The article says that the Divine City was to consist of modular units adaptable to any desired shape.

Take a look at the Texas Monthly article about the Millennium festival. The author was told that DUO would feed, shelter and clothe every human being in need on the planet. He was also told about housing which would include "strong, economical and highly adaptable modules."

Read this at www.ex-premie.org/pages/texasmonthly74.htm

None of this is new. This was all discussed 30 years ago. Does anyone have any ideas why none of it came to fruition?
