Am not quite sure what my response should be or if you are wondering why I wrote that last sentence. But please be assured, it was tongue in cheek. I guess I should of worded it differently but I was trying to be diplomatic. What I meant, contrary to what premies have told me, is that I managed to find inner peace and spiritual awareness without his help whatsoever. I only used that reply once, as it is met with looks of disbelief. I know where I am, and I did it my way.
I read the link. Have heard of it and while I find it unacceptable to cover those things up for the sake of publicity and a bad name, I believe in Karma and that all bad things come to those who manifested it. Whether people are choosing to ignore it or are using the old 'well, we are human' is beyond my knowledge, but can you imagine what the uproar would be if the same thing happened with one of the Dalai Lama's entourage? Would people be so blind as to pretend it didn't happen and to retain the same respect? It takes a braver man to admit an error within the system and I believe that silence is just a substitute for guilt.
Sometimes it takes a lifetime for someone to remove the blinders. You can only feel pity for them.
