I don't think anyone is criticising the lovely land in Amaroo. I think it's more aimed at the crazy cult and nutty leader, who sits on his balcony shooting rabbits and has had transparent walkways built so he doesn't have to come into contact with an insect between buildings.

You know the place, $500 to get in, and over $1000 to sleep in a grotty little single tent, and if you're lucky, you get to work washing dishes, or digging treches, without wages, while you're there.
