Ah, Mr. Will, thank you for an excellent post. Some of the assertions do stretch my mind somewhat, but I SEEM to agree with the gist, at least. In my life, and this is a large part of what brought me to exit the guru-devotee world, I ran smack into the conflict between devotion-to-guru and devotion-to-principles. Maybe with some gurus, that doesn't happen. But after leaving the guru, I became aware of a sort of wound in the heart area, and it was sort of bleeding emotions. Whether all devotee and guru relations are abusive, I guess I am inclined to say maybe so.Are there exceptions?
