Marolyn Rawat suffered a brain aneurysm (or some equally debilitating condition) back in the mid eighties - whatever the nature of her relationship to the gahstly Prem prior to that, afterwards she seems to have been especially dependant.

Rawat was by various testimonies already cheating on Marolyn with favoured female followers before Marolyn became ill, something which continued afterwards.
