On the subject, & seeing as you live in the NE of England, did you ever come across another Dave, who became a Rajneeshi after spending time in Durham prison around 1970/71/72/73/74 etc.(not sure when he got out, maybe '76/7) for his part in running an LSD manufacturing enterprise, sited in the University & using their laboratory facilities. Quite a hero in a way; he took the major part of the rap for the real mr big, a guy who later became a premie, because he reckoned said guy would be less able to handle prison than himself.
