I don't think Paddy is trying to make anyone feel bad ( although I did wonder a little)...... subconsciously, possibly he isn't so sure of the level of his/our own responsibility  for joining the cult as he makes out .

 As an experienced Godfather of the forum  Dant ,I realise you must have seen all this analysis before .    

I have found it insightful to talk about this question of choice and thank Paddy for opening up this debate.
