I don't think anyone should ever be banned because of their POV. If they stick to the forum guidelines why should they be banned? I didn't like the mods deleting Mahatmaji's post the other day, and likewise, as long as Jonx sticks to the rules, he shouldn't be banned or deleted either IMO.Otherwise it's one rule for us, and one for 'them'. And that's wrong. We may as well just become a 'private' forum if we wanted that. Therefore, we have to accept all types of people and their arguments.
Nya, these types of posts used to get to me too. Now I hardly ever read them. And I only reply if I'm in "posting mood", because it can sometimes mean a bit of marathon session, possibly going over a few days or more. But the odd passing premie may read them, and I think that's good. Often the likes of Jonx do more harm than good to M&EV. THat is why M&EV tell premies not to read these sites. So Jonx is really disobeying M's request! But he probably thinks he's doing M a service and can't see the damage that he's doing.
It's not our responsibility to get through to Jonx. All we have to do is give honest answers (and only if we want to, or feel like it). Personally, it makes no difference to me whether he understands our POV or not. I don't want to convince him otherwise, if he's happy with his life as a premie, good for him! So if Jonx started a thread, or posted something, and no one replied, I think that's fine.
