Hey lurking premies: Instead of giving your hurricane relief donations to The Prem Rawat Foundation, as they contemplate how best to use the donations they receive for Katrina, as if The Prem Rawat Foundation was a working charitable group like the Red Cross that goes in to tragic situations and gets things done, why not give your donations to groups who WILL MATCH THE FUNDS. From today's news:
"During each baseball game on Wednesday, September 7, Major League Baseball will "pass the hat" (literally!) to collect funds for the Red Cross hurricane relief efforts.
"MLB will match up to $1 million of those donations.
"Teams playing road games tomorrow will have a separate "Pass the Hat" day in the near future."
Why not give your donations to a group that, instead of skimming administrative fees like crazy, MATCHES YOUR DONATIONS UP TO A MILLION DOLLARS. Could Rawat be a bigger a--hole?
