many of us could see Rawat, especially when in "Holy Name" as somebody with some kind of shining "golden skin". The pictures that were sold, at least when i was selling them were hand chosen by rawat,so that you could have that effect as a preserve. I have seen photographs from Thomas Trattnik, one of his chosen photgraphers, that didn't have that effect and were therefore not chosen for selling. But I could see this kind of glimmer with Osho as well and some other figures from the "scene" which puzzled me some time. The deeper you endulged into the "force/holy name" it made every photo some kind of alive, and i think this is an effect of utmost danger of deception within one self. This is of course used by many kinds of culs/sects to produce a dependancy rooted on "experience". Why do you think all the websites and even the wiki-article are stuffed with photos from rawat. The messenger has to become more important than the message, so that in the end the message itself(peace to the world ore oneself) becomes irrelevantToby PS.
