d,

Have you read ex-premie.org? If so, you would be able to rebut most of these responses yourself quite easily. It's very unfair of you to say that ex-premies don't allow debate between the two 'sides'. These ex-premie forums are the only place where such debate is allowed (within sensible boundaries of courtesy, etc.), and if you read the forum archives (a daunting task I know) you will find that all these issues have been discussed countless times. Because the answers to your questions aren't available on page 1 of this forum (and many are), does not mean that ex-premies shy away from debate.

Let's take a couple of the objections. The fact that Rawat encouraged and allowed us to worship him as God is primarily supported by our own memories, and the memories of a few honest premies who are willing to admit this. It is also supported by the God claims section on both EPO and The Gallery (linked above). Do your own research.

Regarding Rawat's wealth, he has never had a paying job in his life but he has become very rich. His wealth is detailed on EPO, and how he acquired it is supported by our memories of the many many times meetings booked under the banner of Divine Light Mission and Elan Vital were used for fund raising. Cards were even passed out with Rawat's home address so that we could send donations directly to him. I know one wealthy donor who told me that his pleasure in being affluent is to write a personal cheque to Rawat each month. The main reason premies donate directly to him is because they still believe he is the messiah or God.

The 14 objections page on EPO includes links which expand on each objection, and pretty much cover all the points raised on that website. As I said, do your research, and if any specific points are still unclear then ask here. But expecting us to go provide detailed responses here when we have done so so many times before is a little unfair.

John.
