Again, I'm not talking charisma as in the ability to engage with one individual.Watch the way he speaks - he'll say a phrase, and then pause, his entire body totally rigid, before he says another. Everything he says is mundane but he delivers it in such a way as to make it seem intriguing, spinning little stories out of nothing, sometimes coming across quite funny in the process.
I gave a video to a girfriend of mine once, and she said his words were vacuous but 'he really knew how to hold an audience', which is what I mean.
To be honest, I never really cared how he behaved in private. I'm really fucked off with what he's doing with my parent's money though, especially the whole amaroo business. They could never afford to camp on the land which meant they had to stay in a camping ground a couple of ks from the actual place and get shitty buses at 5am or something - they used to complain heartily.
