I hear what you say...but surely seeing the illusion is not overcoming it... just recognising the fact ? What else can we do ?

I hear what you say about guruism and religion too. I also object but it seems to me that the whole `truth seeking` shabang is riddled with this from head to toe, and it`s not easy to cut through the crap.

Teaching, language and culture is at the very heart of the meditation tradition and inner exploration because all that we know is learned from and with others, though I  feel that there is far more to wisdom than mere words can ever contain or express. 

Figuring it out may well be a lifetimes work...or several lifetimes if we go with your view (which I rather like) that we were once elephants and who knows what else.

It is certainly an interesting journey and I`m glad to be sharing some of it with you.
