Right but I have to admit that I'm actually just going through some old satsangs I have on this computer:

The world thinks, people think, God is a man. People think God has ears, nose, teeth, and he rises early in the morning, brushes His teeth, washes out His mouth, and He is an old man, so he brushes out His beard also. But no, God is energy. God is perfect and pure energy, and that is why scientists say that energy cannot be destroyed and cannot be created. This is Knowledge. This is the Word of God.

I'm pretty sure I saw him say this in a movie and it was nonsense. There may well be people with that sort of juvenile conception of God but it was embarassing to here this stuff from someone who was supposed to be your guru.

Righto this isn't easy cause the only book I have on this PC is Downton's in which all the Rawat quotes are from the early Indian period and so they are all indefinite and hinduish but here is another one I didn't accept at the time as a father of a two year old and a 3 month old.

"You think that your wife, your husband, your children will give you love? No. It is the love of selfishness. Baby loves mother because mother gives him milk, but not because they have a connection. No, just because of selfish love. In the same way, you love everything because of selfishness. But you love guru without selfishness. It is pure and perfect love; it is that love which cannot be disturbed by mind at all."

Actually my son is arriving shortly for me to upgrade his PC so it certainly seems that parental love is purer than guru lve in my case at least but then my son is a better person than Rawat.
