Dear Janet,

I don't know you as I only, this year, became an EX-P, but your story has affected me and I wanted you to know that it means a lot that you share it. I am in a rock band with 5 others and our bass player recently was acting strangely and finally came out and told us he was shizophrenic/bi-polar. He needed his meds adjusted. He is a very big-hearted, generous person, but we were at our wits ends not knowing how to be with him when he was off and doing wild crazy things.

I got the feeling for you son, as you described him, as an intelligent, open, bright spark of a person. I honor you for paying attention to him, and supporting the heart of him all these  years. What else really matters?
