Personally, I think freedom is highly over-rated.  I like to be free of some things, but I like to be a part of others.

Sometimes I  enjoy the feeling of freedom that one must have while para-skiing, but other times I want to feel my feet on the ground.

I don't think of God as within me so much as I am within IT.  What is there to be free of, in the largest sense? Really, I think spiritual freedom is just another empty concept.
