The main problem with Downton's work is that it is only a snapshot of a group of current (at the time) premies. A credible study would have included former premies, of which there were many at the time, and would have returned to this same group after five or ten years (during which time I am certain most of them would have no longer been premies). It would be good if Booker would actually include a few of his/her personal opinions, and reasons for posting this. John. |
