Elan Vital complained to the hosting company for the PRMI website that publication of the photos breached their copyright. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, a counter-notification has been issued and Elan Vital has 10 business days to take the matter to federal court or otherwise the photos will be reinstated.

The counter-notification was sent to Elan Vital on 23rd or 24th June, so they have until 7th or 8th July to respond. Don't worry - EV's lawyers haven't won anything. In fact, EV haven't even used lawyers so far. It is almost certain that the right to use of one or two small images of Prem Rawat, on each page of a site whose subject matter is Prem Rawat, will be allowed by the 'fair use' provisions of the DMCA.
