O dear discretion, how his words are suited!
The fool hath planted in his memory An army of good words; and I do know A many fool that stand in better place, Garnish'd like him, that for a tricksy word Defy the matter. Merchant of Venice Wasn't one of M's favourite quotes "To thine own self be true" ? (Hamlet) That contraditcts the "unlit match" concept. So he's proved that he is a fool after all !
