June 16th Miami Event Sponsorship

Dear Friends,

Next Thursday, on June 16th, a very special event will take place in Miami. The event is sponsored by Miami Dade College, which awards more associate degrees than any other school in the nation, and graduates the highest number of minority students. College President Eduardo J. Padrone has invited Prem Rawat to share his message of hope and peace at the prestigious James L. Knight International Center, owned by the City of Miami. The event has a number of prominent cosponsors and many distinguished guests are expected to attend.

Volunteers are working enthusiastically throughout the Miami community to invite the widest possible audience to this important civic occasion. In fact, they have pledged to fill every seat in the Knight Center.
To help make sure that ticket price is not a barrier, they have
arranged to offer tickets for as little as $10.

Proceeds from this event will benefit the United Nations World Food Programme whose humanitarian efforts last year reached 113 million people in 80 countries. Donations are needed to ensure that tickets can be widely available while fulfilling the humanitarian goals of the event.
For this reason, a special sponsorship fund has been established for everyone who wants to offer support, whether or not they plan to attend.

Donations to the sponsorship fund in any amount will be greatly
appreciated. These can be made by visiting www.tprf.org and clicking on
“Giving.” People who wish to contribute $150 or more can visit
www.regonline.com/miamidade and select “Event Sponsor.” Those making $150 contributions by midnight Monday, June 13 will have their name listed on the program. (Copies of the program will be mailed to those who do not
attend.)

For people making a new contribution of $250 or more, a limited number
of preferred seats are available by visiting
www.regonline.com/miamidade and selecting “TPRF contribution for preferred seating.” (Choose “existing registration” if you have already registered.)

All contributions will be deeply appreciated.

Sincerely,
Miami Event Team
