Yes, it seems that the really short timers, like those in less than a year, have probably forgotten all about it, and don't have all that much to say about it.  It was kind of that way with my brother and his wife.  But until I left, I was kind of a reminder that they had been in the cult themselves.

My very best friend from high school also received knowledge, and it was great to be able to see him at festivals.  He also left the cult a long time before I did -- he said he just walked away one day, like it just hit him one day, that there was nothing there and that he had been really deluded.  The guy's name was Denny Roling, he lived mostly in Denver as a premie, and he died of leukemia in 1997.

He became a bit of a celebrity (even was on Oprah!), because he worked in the animal hospital at the Denver Zoo and they successfully (the first time), raised two newborn Polar Bear cubs who were abandoned at birth by their mother.  There was a PBS film done about it, called "Klondyke and Snow" which were the names of the two bears.  The bears now live in the polar exhibit at Marine World in Orlando. (This is all OT, but kind of cool.)  Denny was a neat guy.
