For peace, against hunger

I received an invitation to Prem Rawat's Peace is Possible talk at the Knight Center on June 16. Sponsored by Miami Dade College, the event will benefit the United Nations World Food Program. I attended MDC for several years and always appreciated what I learned there.

I am especially proud of the school for addressing two of the largest problems facing our world today. With this event, the college brings to our community a widely recognized speaker on the topic of peace. It also provides much-needed financial support to the U.N. efforts to feed victims of the tsunami and other natural disasters.
