Hi Juan

I too would be very interested in reading more of what Elli has to say.  Of particular interest is the 'transformation' effect that groups go through, often starting as a benign group (or seemingly benign!) to an outright malign group.  It seems to be that through such a transformation the group becomes increasingly like a one-cell organism discarding a wide variety of valuable ethics and codes and becoming a singularly focussed group with only a handfull of 'beliefs'.

Your post reminds of of an article written by Mark Dunlop on the Culture of Cults which throws a similar light on this important subject.  Highly recommended reading.  Of particular interest are his observations on the removal of free-will through the process of internalising group beliefs.  In the case of Rawat he appears to be trying to institutionalise this process via his 'Keys' program.
