Hope all is well over there in the Empire of Elves.

Like Anna, I consider Glen a friend. I've known him for a long time, and have bumped into him by chance, once or twice since I left the cult.

He certainly didn't behave like he thought I was in a hate group or anything. He was warm and friendly and happy to talk. Lots of my old premie friends are still friends, some of them close. We usually have an unspoken understanding not to discuss the cult or its leader, and get on as well as ever. I like it this way. I value my friends a great deal, as you know. Occasionally, of course, the subject pops up. When that happens, I say what I think and feel.

Not all my premie friends are like this. Several have acted very wierd and strange with me, avoiding contact etc, since I quit the cult.

In Glen's case, maybe the best way to understand him is to see him as one of the faithfull party loyalists. Like the remaining  East German Communists. But underneath that, he's a genuinely warm person.
