And in addition to Rawat's constant statements about what a waste looking elsewhere for peace was, he also blathered on about how precious life was and how you might die any minute, and about how lucky you were to get a body to experience knowledge. 

So, at the same time he might have said (and I continue to maintain it was early on and he didn't say it very often), that you could look to the four corners of the earth and come back to knowledge, he also said it was 1) futile, and 2) you had precious little time to do it, and it was risky because you  might die any moment and not get the chance again to get K for a gazillion lifetimes.

Again, absolutely nothing like the disingenuous spin that Geaves put on it.

I think Geaves is becoming the master of what I call "proof by ridiculous anecdote."
