I knew both of the individuals at a later date than 1973, and Pete Stanton was intense and probably still is but he was not unthoughtful. Bruce was not a thug when I knew him but I think he could be, though he was good at getting things out of people. But he did help me out of a very bad space at one point and for that I am and was very grateful. But both of these individuals were very single minded when it came to the Maha and Bruce for one made it clear that if I ever departed the guru we would have no contact, which indeed I haven't.
