It was taken in 1973 (July?) at the time of the big 3 day programme at the Alexander Palace in London. Lots of the premies statyed at a camp site at a place called Cuffley and maharaji held a darshan parade there, which this is a photo of (i.e. the followers of maharaji would line up to kiss maharaji's feet). I think that I queued for about 3 hours that day for the "honour". It was basically in a big field and security was quite lax compared to today's standards. Whilst waiting my turn, I was able to walk within about 10 feet of maharaji and take some photos of the activity from directly in front of him - maybe I've still got them somewhere.
