If that is the case (and I accept what you say) then the newswire, dated April 14, must be in error when it quotes Linda Pascotto as saying that Rawat is working "in collaboration with Jeevashakthi Society Ltd., a reputable local nonprofit organization."

Something here doesn't compute, does it? For one thing, Google has never heard of this reputable nonprofit organization and - heck - google's even heard of me!
