Very nice. Our thinking about "belief" has certainly changed on several different fronts in the last few decades.
Cultic belief in a savior is just one minor aspect of recent reseach.
To claim that one "doesn't believe"-- the common mantra --sorry -- of today's's premies ---sorry....is just horseshit.
I do admit to "believing" that it is spiritually advantageous to meditate AND maintain an attitude of constant skepticism...but, then, that's just a cultic Western Buddhist thing, I guess.
To believe in M as a guide and his K as a cure and then to deny it....sorry, that's just lying.
