Jon,This is really important, so please try to understand.
We all have had, and many of us continue to have, experiences when meditating on the techniques of knowledge. Some of these experiences are quite notable. The best ones (in my experience) have no verbalised thoughts concurrent with them.
It's what happens afterwards that distinguishes premies from ex-premies.
Premies interpret these experiences based on a belief system that they have learnt from Maharaji and other premies. Ex-premies no longer do. Amongst ex-premies there are a variety of different interpretations, from a continuing belief that the experiences of Knowledge are divine in nature (but have nothing to do with Maharaji), to a belief that the experiences are the result of brain activity. Ex-premies being free to debate the meaning of the experiences contrasts with premies inability to even have a meaningful discussion about the experiences.
John.
