...perhaps it's time Elan Vital's managers put more effort in to explaining to premies that public actions attract public criticism, rather than negligently encouraging premie volunteers to put themselves up for media attention in situations for which they are not prepared.
I wonder whether we'll see a letter in this week's 'Isle of Wight County Press' from Glen Whittaker, defending the EV(UK) position on exactly what benefits they expect hospital patients to get from attending the upcoming meeting on Apr 24th,to be held in St.Mary's Hospital(IOW).
He wrote to the 'Bristol Evening News' after that newspaper had reported on Rawat's Bristol visit, explaining how EV(UK) saw the event, so one would expect a similar level of backup in this case.
Surely that's one of the functions of the senior officers in any organisation, & when it is a registered Charity whose volunteers are being scrutinised, then Glen's letter is awaited with bated breath by a world wide audience. If you're still chewing your pencil Glen, don't forget to include an explanation of the no doubt squeaky clean financial arrangements. I know it's very, very, small beer compared with hiding the fees which Rawat charges for travelling around the world like a head of state, but all the same.
I'm not sure I'd like to tangle with Charlotte Hofton either, but shit Glen.........just look on it as a lila.
