Righto Cynthia,I have just found the post you thought I was being discourteous by not responding to. yes, I called Prem Rawat' an "Inspirational Speaker". I was being sarcastic.
I do not minimise the issues of a "destructive cult". However, I state that for many current members that I know there do not appear to be any destruction occurring in their lives and that I believe Elan Vital has evolved into a relatively harmless cult. That's relatively, not harmless.
I did not use the term 'Ponzi Scheme', Joe did.
I have never said you said "I think all premies are miserable and unhappy".
I am not denying that premies have an absurd and unwarranted devotion to Prem Rawat. It is irrelevant to the very specific argument I am making re their happiness.
As I have said before I hold the scummies that post here (JONX, etc) in the greatest contempt. I have been told by a former resident of the area that they are centered in Byron Bay and I remember some of them from back in the 1970's. Some of them were contemptible then, some seem to have become contemptible.
