Over the years, off and on, I've read the Forum and there have been a number of people who have become ex-aspirants. I remember there was a woman from Southern California who worked in a bookstore. (I'm not recalling her name at the moment), but she went right up and confronted the "aspirant team" about what she saw on the internet and the questions it raised for her.
The response she got from the "instructor" was that "anybody can say anything on those websites," and her response was: "so can Maharaji and Elan Vital." I guess the room got very silent at that point.
Actually, it is from her I stole the line that "Maharaji should be required to work retail." That came from her first.
And there have been some others as well.
It's such an important stage, because I think it's in the "aspirant process" that the cult programming really gets installed into somebody.
