I don't know if Burt Wolf is a fool or not, but it is a concern that the clip I finally watched (that explained more than I knew before), he seems to be saying he's a "journalist" and will talk about Rawat's "history." I think Mr. Wolf might be sincere -- he might be somebody who is going through a phase in his life when he wants to slow down, and be more "peaceful." Not at all unusual for somebody his age, and it appears he has also had recent trouble "with his family." In that sense, Burt might not be a fool at all, but maybe like a lot of the rest of us, open, willing to explore, and in the process get taken in to what seems like "the answer" to problem of being stressed out. But I think I doubt this. He SAYS he is approaching this as a journalist, so I would assume a journalist will report Rawat's ENTIRE history, including the Lord of the Universe. But see, that's probably not what Burt Wolf is being paid to do. I mean, a journalist is supposed to get the whole story, ask the hard questions and to inform people. I always liked Burt Wolf's TV show, partly because he is so calm, just kind of wandering around Tuscany, or wherever, showing how Amaretto cookies are made (that was one episode I remember), and then sitting and eating some with a desert wine. One wonders if the "history" will do the same thing as the "Passages video" did, and simply ignore the period 1972-1990. That's the way the cult propaganda tries to deal with it, and I wonder if Burt Wolf knows he might be unwittingly participating in the revisionism. I think it may be important for ex-premies who lived through that period to testify to exactly what happened. Rawat claimed to be God, He became fabulously wealthy off the backs of his devotees, He demanded devotion and total surrender to him He demanded ashrams, took peoples' money and then dumped them when it became too much trouble, He had slaves build him a plane, He has never acknoweledged an responsibility, whatsoever for the damage he caused. 90% of the people who have received knowledge have dumped him.
