Prasad...steered Marcelo toward self-inquiry, literally having him ask himself, "Who am I", in front of this listening audience. As he pursued Self-Inquiry, Marcelo's personality dropped away, all that was left was Presence...recognizing this from his meditation... As the ego had dropped away, so had Marcelo's agenda. This is called "Self Realization", as Prasad taught, easy to attain, but hard to maintain...

It's strange, the power of self-inquiry to impact one's conscious experience, a bliss type experience in my case, that can last for days.

I don't think your "personality" or "ego" goes away when you have this "experience" (to take back a perfectly good word) and I doubt it's "Self-Realization" LOL, whatever that means!

But guided self-inquiry is a very powerful process sometimes. It is easy to "attain," as the guru guy says, in that it just happens sometimes when certain people do this self-inquiry. The trick, as he acknowledges, is to "maintain" it.

I can see a certain downside to being in bliss all the time, but it would be nice to be able to turn it on at will. Can any of these guru guys do this? I don't know, but I seriously doubt it.

Of course to put out a shingle and charge money for this little brainrush side show is altogether another level of enlightenment I've had way too much of already...
