I have read most of the book "Hearing the voices of Jonestown" by Mary McCormick Maaga and together with reading the Jonestown website made me realize that I could have drunk the cool aid. After I read some of the brochures of the Peoples Temple, I fully understood why they were so passionate about their ideals. I mean, people always think that such things happen to OTHER, naive, gullible people. Other people get into cults. Not people like us.
