I haven't looked at ELK in ages and actually forgot it was there until Jim posted that comment from that guy John Ellis from the LA event.  It surprised me they let that comment in.

Just from an objective point of view, and from Marketing 101, Rawat has a "product identity" problem and a "differentiation" problem, and the premies are the ones most confused about both.

It just isn't clear what "knowledge" is.  Now they are saying it isn't even meditation.  This conflicts with what has been said for years, and there is no explanation about the change.

More importantly, who is Rawat and what is his role?  In the past he was openly the source of the experience and the savior, now he is just inspirational, but the two get confused, and it isn't readily apparent to the public.

And if this is just a "have a nice day" experience (whatever it is), how does this differ, and how is it better, than the power of positive thinking, Yoga, meditation, relaxation exercises, aroma therapy, visualization, or a variety of new-age bullshit?

ELK really added to the confusion.  But then so does Rawat's whole history, as well as the conflicting things he continues to say, do and the way he lives.
