This reminds me of my trip to Sears (a retailer) yesterday... | |||

I was at a Sears store yesterday and I stopped by the TV department and saw a large screen HDTV where actor Kurt Russell was being interviewed. Yes, indeedy, actors and television personalities really do have something to fear in HDTV because it shows so much - every line, wrinkle, acne scar, wart and mole. And Kurt Russell gets off pretty easy because he is a fairly handsome guy with great blue eyes and an easy friendly smile. But looking at this MOVie of Maharaji you have to know that he's never going to make it to HDTV because he looks simply awful in low-res definition. I can't begin to fathom what he'll look like on HDTV. Hopefully, Maharaji will end up like the silent film actors and actresses who couldn't transition to talkies. And all we'll get from him are rap-tunes. P.S. Can you imagine having a few drinks with Maharaji and he's like in your face like this picture and he's telling you how much he likes to fly his jet and he's saying the following: "Seriously, I'm not too drunk. I'll take you up right now. Come on, man, I'm the Lord. What's there to worry about?" Holy cow! Please poke my eyes out with a hot poker!
