Most excellent anger Mr Bryn sir. It is a very strange to encounter a former psychosis from the outside. What these people dont understand is that all the things they see as unnecessary or 'negative' or a threat to their loyalty to their master are proper growing mechanisms. The difference for those of us who have moved on is that the sort of teaching which is MOST valuable is freely given, without subtext, need for gratitude, loyalty and sub-clause. On the 'surface' (and I put surface in inverted commas because it is a fake) Prem's Knowledge is freely given, but once you start treating him and it as if it were freely given, you realise there are a lot of conditions. 'Dont rock the boat' . I have been in many workshops and classes with wise teachers in Universities. I have laughed and enjoyed the freedom of their giving classes where the sub-text of respect/worship/awe is distinctly and conciously repelled. They manage to give away what they know, and take pleasure in its giving. By comparison, M is at the helm of a middle management saleman-driven enterprise which seeks to make what he teaches seem precious and part of a 'proprietorial system' which is unique. The moment you start wrapping 'gifts' in contractual paper, you have made the giving into a pompous and self-interested act. |
