I can't find where anyone (other than active premies) has applauded John for his acknowledging Rawat's humanity and for his publicly flagelating himself for taking liberties with journalistic boundries.
Through no fault of your own, this statement may have been lifted out of context. My statement was merely a response to Jim. I was definitely not criticizing ex-premies in any way. Nor was I encouraging John's journalistic self-flagellation.
Rather, my response was intended to defend John MacGregor's previous article and view his current apology in terms of pressure from Rawat.
Reading your response and my response again, I definitely see how you interpreted my response the way you did. My writing ability sucks.
